“429” Food Truck

I’ve always thought it would be pretty dope to design a food truck, so when I got the opportunity to create fresh wraps for a food truck at Wofford College, I was pretty excited. 429 seemed extra fitting considering the college’s address resides at 429 North Church Street in downtown Spartanburg, South Carolina. From initial sketches to digital renderings and finally to seeing the truck wrapped in real life, this was such a fun project and one of the most special in my career thus far.

It’s safe to say the truck had to come a long way from the original design from a previous owner. Deceivingly enough, it was the perfect blank canvas, and I knew my first priority would be making the new design fresh, impactful, and vibrant.

Sketching everything out initially was imperative considering the scale of the designs and how many people would have to sign off with approvals.

Seeing it all come together once I added color was one of the most satisfying things.
